Job summary

The Buona Companies in Oak Park, IL is seeking a friendly Dining Room Attendant to greet guests, reset tables quickly, and help groom the dining room and its perimeter. You will support service staff with orders and ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience.

This position pays $16–$19 per hour based on experience, plus tips, and benefits are available after eligibility. The role requires good communication, the ability to stand long periods, and a Food Handler certificate.

Job Summary:

As a dining room attendant, you greet our guests with a smile, reset tables in a speedy professional and effective manner as guests leave the restaurant. You are also responsible for the grooming of the entire restaurant and its perimeters, as well as supporting service staff with serving orders.

Responsibilities:

• Take pride in every aspect of your work and perform with enthusiasm
• Communicate and work with your team to give outstanding service to our guests
• Greet every guest with a smile!
• Organize tables efficiently
• Fills water pitcher, stocks glassware, silverware and all products available on the condiment
• Restock clean dishes in all areas of restaurantAccepts deliveries and stocks in appropriate storage places
• Set up and breakdown dining room and service stations
• Cleaning and sanitizing as needed
• Other duties as assigned
