Job summary

HAPPIER 365 LLC seeks a reliable Porter to support daily cleanliness and organization in our grocery kitchen and back-of-house areas. You will help maintain a safe, sanitary, and efficient kitchen through routine cleaning and support tasks, reporting to the Assistant General Manager and collaborating with the kitchen team.

The ideal candidate has prior porter or kitchen support experience, can follow instructions, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in prior cleaning, porter, or kitchen support preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, prep, storage, refrigeration, and back-of-house areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and sanitize floors and workspaces per food safety standards.
• Empty trash, recycling, and waste and transport to disposal areas.
• Clean and sanitize sinks, drains, and high-touch surfaces.
• Restock cleaning supplies and sanitation materials as needed.
• Perform routine deep cleaning of equipment exteriors, walls, and storage areas.
• Keep walkways and workspaces clear; address spills promptly.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management.
• Support special cleaning tasks and kitchen projects as needed.
