Job summary

New Haven Manor Home for Adults in Queens, NY is seeking a motivated Porter to help maintain a clean, safe environment for residents. You will perform general cleaning, report issues, and support the Maintenance Director as needed.

This role offers a consistent daytime schedule from 8am to 4pm, on-site work, competitive pay, health benefits, and paid time off. Previous porter/housekeeping experience in assisted living is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Porter/Housekeeper in an Assisted Living Facility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the general cleanliness and sanitation of the facility
• Periodically tour the facility and grounds, examine doors, windows, and ensure proper working order
• Report any unusual conditions or malfunction of heating, plumbing, and electrical systems or any other incidents to the Maintenance Director
