Porters

Pay Rate: $16.35 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Location: New Haven, CT

Shift & Schedule: First Shift

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Porters for full-time and part-time opportunities to start immediately.

What we're looking for:

• Perform all cleaning tasks noted on the checklists and as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all dirt, dust, litter, and debris are removed from all areas of the facility.
• Sweep and pick up around entrances, exits, garage, stairwells, and clean surface area rails on all levels, including the booth, office, and restrooms, as directed.
• Empty all trashcans in the garage, booth, and office.
• Responsible for safety and security of company equipment.
• Report any known, observed, or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to regional or account managers promptly.
• Pick-up and delivery of winter supplies, sand, salt, fuel, power equipment, vehicles, etc., as applicable.
• Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies and submit re-stocking requests as needed.
• Operate necessary equipment for cleaning and maintaining the facility.
• Shovel, plow, or blow snow from entrance or exit ramps and designated areas when needed.
• Report accidents or violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences promptly.

Good to haves:

• Customer service experience: 1 year or more.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

The physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, handling tools, reaching, talking, hearing, and occasionally lifting/moving objects up to 25 lbs.

The work environment may involve weather exposure, fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels.
