Porters will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of common areas, bathrooms, function rooms, stairways, hallways, parking lot, sidewalks, windows, carpets, floors, and all other public areas as required.

Our community operates much like a high-end hotel, emphasizing exceptional guest services and hospitality. We seek an experienced, responsible, and well-mannered Porter to create a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our residents. Your responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in common areas such as bathrooms, function rooms, stairways, hallways, parking lots, sidewalks, windows, carpets, and floors. You will interact with residents, families, guests, and team members, maintaining a friendly, courteous, and professional attitude at all times.

You will clean assigned areas following guidelines established by the Director of Housekeeping, assist with special cleaning projects, and help with snow removal as needed. Your attention to detail and customer service are vital to the well-being and quality of life of our residents.

Must be able to work at least one weekend day per week (Tues–Sat or Sun–Thurs).

Ideal Candidate Skills & Qualifications

• Upbeat, friendly, and courteous demeanor when dealing with peers, supervisors, guests, residents, and management
• Consistent, reliable, and thorough in cleaning practices
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in cleaning services within the restaurant, healthcare, hospital, hotel, or hospitality industry is a plus
• Prior experience working with a senior population is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
