Job summary

Lucky Cat Steak - Miami, a Gordon Ramsay Restaurants concept, is seeking a Porter to support a fast-paced luxury kitchen in a new concept opening. You will maintain cleanliness, assist with receiving and storage, and help keep back-of-house areas organized.

The role values a strong work ethic, attention to detail, reliability, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Upscale restaurant experience is a plus; training and staff benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Porter, Kitchen Porter, Steward, Dishwasher, or in a similar cleaning or back-of-house role is preferred.
• A strong commitment to cleanliness, organization, and maintaining high sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
• A reliable, hardworking, and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks and support the wider restaurant team.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move supplies as required.

• Previous experience in an upscale, luxury, or high-volume restaurant environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, floors, walls, work surfaces, and other areas as needed.
• Assist with dishwashing and ensure kitchen equipment, utensils, and supplies are clean and ready for use.
• Remove trash and recycling and maintain proper waste disposal procedures.
• Assist with receiving, moving, and storing deliveries and supplies.
• Support the kitchen team with general cleaning and other tasks as needed to keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Follow all food safety, health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are stored properly and used safely.
• Work closely with the kitchen and management teams to maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and high-performance restaurant culture.

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global are now recruiting for Porters to join our new concept & restaurant Opening - Lucky Cat Steak - Miami.

Lucky Cat Steak is an Asian-inspired steakhouse created specifically for Miami and located South of Fifth, bringing together a globally sourced steak program, open-flame robata cooking, and bold Japanese and Korean flavors.

The menu draws on the DNA of the original Lucky Cat in London’s Mayfair while taking on a distinctly Miami identity, with USDA Prime Dry-Aged, Texas Akaushi, A5 Miyazaki and Australian Blackmore.

The 152-seat space pairs a moody, high-energy dining room with a late-night lounge designed to capture the energy of Miami.

We are looking for passionate culinary professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy luxury setting and take pride in producing dishes of the highest quality and consistency.

What You'll Be Doing
