Start your journey with Blue Compass RV as we are looking for a Porter to join our team. This position is responsible for arranging trailers on the lot with a forklift and assisting the service team.

Compensation: $15-$20/hourly

What We Are Looking For

• Ability to operate a forklift to transport trailers and re-arrange throughout the lot
• Park and move RV units in a timely fashion
• Ensure window prices on RVs are installed and removed as instructed
• Write work orders, track problems, and ensure units are in proper working order
• Keep lot clean and professional in appearance
• Keep units and equipment secure from weather
• Ensure slide-outs are in, jacks are down, steps are down, select awnings are opened, and doors are unlocked
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Fuel and propane check and refill
• Stage units and check in new units from the factory
• Run errands for parts or supplies
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor

What You Can Bring

• Some technician experience
• Towing experience (preferred)
• Previous yard tractor and/or forklift experience
• Ability to drive an RV
• Experience using generators and operating slide-outs
• Ability to repair small items and identify problems
• Physical ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for prolonged periods
• Lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Potential for growth and willingness to learn RV repair techniques
