Job summary

Loch Lloyd Country Club is seeking an energetic team member to assist with event setup and tear down, inventory management, and guest service. You will work with servers, bartenders, and other staff to ensure events run smoothly in a fast-paced club environment.

The role requires physical activity, attention to detail, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Prior hospitality or country club experience is preferred but not required, and the team values

The Porter plays an important role in supporting the successful setup and breakdown of events at Loch Lloyd Country Club, ensuring event spaces are clean, organized, and ready for members and guests.

Job Description

Event Setup and Tear Down

• Assist with the setup and tear down of special events, including weddings, banquets, golf tournaments, and other club events.
• Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and properly arranged according to event specifications.
• Set up and break down tables, chairs, linens, decorations, and event equipment as needed.

Inventory Management

• Maintain an inventory of event supplies and equipment, ensuring items are clean, in good condition, and readily available for use.
• Report damaged, missing, or worn equipment to the supervisor for replacement or repair.

Assist Event Staff

• Work closely with servers, bartenders, and other event staff to ensure events run smoothly and efficiently.
• Assist with member and guest requests and provide support to the event team as needed.

General Maintenance

• Keep event spaces, service areas, and common areas clean and organized throughout events.
• Perform light cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and removing trash.
• Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment throughout the club.

Customer Service

• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to Loch Lloyd Country Club members and guests.
• Answer questions and assist members and guests with directions or other needs as appropriate.
• Represent the Club in a professional and courteous manner.

Safety and Security

• Help maintain a safe and secure environment for members, guests, and staff.
• Follow all Club safety procedures and guidelines.
• Report safety concerns, hazards, or incidents to the supervisor promptly.

Flexible Schedule

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on event needs, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional early mornings.
• Schedule may vary depending on the Club's event calendar and seasonal needs.
