Job summary

CareOne at Livingston is seeking a Porter to join our team in Livingston, NJ. This role supports daily operation by cleaning and maintaining the facility, restocking supplies, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for Residents and staff.

The position offers opportunities across multiple shifts with a pay range of $16–$19 per hour. We value dedication and provide benefits and growth opportunities within a compassionate care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility by cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Removes miscellaneous debris by removing trash.
• Refreshes bath areas by cleaning toilets and sinks; refilling dispensers.
• Cleans floors by washing and vacuuming.
• Maintains furnishings by dusting and polishing; cleaning surfaces.
• Keeps supplies ready by restocking housekeeping materials; ordering as needed.
• Maintains safe, secure environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.

Salary Range: $16- $19 per Hour

• Maintains the facility by cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing.


• Removing miscellaneous debris by removing trash.


• Refreshing bath area by cleaning toilet, and sinks; refilling hand towel and toilet paper dispensers.


• Cleaning floors by washing and vacuuming floors.


• Maintaining furnishings by dusting and polishing furniture; cleaning and polishing glass surfaces.


• Keeping supplies ready by restocking housekeeping supplies; ordering new supplies as needed.


• Keeping equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.


• Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with security regulations.


• Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.


• Enhancing housekeeping reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
