Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Las Vegas is seeking a Porter to maintain properties, assist with unit prep, and support emergencies. You will keep common areas clean, assist in snow removal, and help preserve curb appeal while delivering excellent resident service.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, English literacy, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to safety and confidentiality. Benefits include comprehensive medical and retirement options.

  • Must maintain professional appearance and comply with uniform policy.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance.
  • Must comply with all safety requirements.
  • Must complete and pass Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

  • Remove trash and debris from office areas and property perimeter daily.
  • Assist in the preparation of market ready units.
  • Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
  • Assist with property emergencies such as snow removal and other inclement weather events.
  • Clean available apartments, model homes and common areas as directed.
  • Address property maintenance concerns related to weather conditions.
  • Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal; interact professionally with residents.
  • Preserve resident confidentiality and foster positive relationships with residents and other properties.
  • Report any maintenance and life safety issues identified during duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

About The Porter Position

  • Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents always.
  • Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality.
  • Foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, other properties and associated agencies.
  • Clearly and immediately report any maintenance and/or life safety issues identified while performing regular assigned duties.
  • Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents at all times.

Education And Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Skills And Requirements
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.
  • Ability to use general office equipment.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.

  • Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to shovel snow, apply ice melt and operate a commercial snow blower.
