Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Kennewick, WA is seeking a Part-time Porter to support property operations. You will remove debris, assist with unit prep, and maintain exterior cleanliness to keep curb appeal high.

The role requires English proficiency, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. Working Tue-Sat, 8:00am–12:00pm, with a focus on safety and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance is required.

• Required to complete and successfully pass Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within 30 days.
• Ability to shovel snow, apply ice melt and operate a commercial snow blower.
• Passionate for meticulous curb appeal.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and other debris from office areas and property perimeter daily.
• Assist in the preparation of market ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
• Assist with property emergencies such as snow removal, fires, floods.
• Clean available apartments, model homes and common areas as directed.
• Address property maintenance concerns related to inclement weather.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, interacting courteously with residents.
• Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality.
• Foster a positive, collaborative relationship with residents and other properties.
• Report maintenance and life safety issues identified during duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

About The Part-time Porter Position

• Remove trash and other debris from office areas and property perimeter on a daily basis.
• Assist in the preparation of market ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
• Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal and/or other inclement weather emergencies, fires, and floods.
• Clean available apartments and/or model homes and common areas of the community, as directed.
• Address property maintenance concerns related to inclement weather conditions.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents always.
• Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality.
• Foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, other properties and associated agencies.
• Clearly and immediately report any maintenance and/or life safety issues identified while performing regular assigned duties.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents at all times.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
