Job summary

John Eagle Houston Acura, part of Lithia Motors, is seeking a Lot Porter to support sales and service teams. You will greet customers, move vehicles for display, assist with shuttle runs, and keep the lot clean and organized.

A valid driver's license and a neat, professional appearance are required, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service. We offer competitive pay and a range of benefits including medical/dental/vision, paid holidays and PTO, disability and life insurance, a 401(k)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to greet and assist customers professionally and politely.
• A clean driving record and valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers dropping off vehicles for repairs.
• Move and display vehicles to support sales activities.
• Deliver vehicles and assist shuttle driver as needed.
• Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained.
• Monitor tire pressure and basic vehicle maintenance awareness.
• Report any repairs or maintenance needs to management.
• Maintain the store, showroom, and lot appearance.
• Run errands for the store.

Porter Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers dropping off vehicles for repairs.
• Move and work with vehicles to maintain display and support sales activities.
• Delivers vehicles & assist shuttle driver as required.
• Thoroughly clean and maintain all vehicles.
• Monitor tire pressure of vehicles; add air and fuel as needed.
• Recognize general vehicle repairs and/or building maintenance and notify management.
• Maintain internal and external appearance and cleanliness of the store, showroom and lot.
• Run miscellaneous errands for the store.

Qualifications

• Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
