Job summary

Taylor at Copperfield in Houston, TX is seeking a dedicated Porter to join our team and help keep the property pristine and inviting for residents and visitors.

You will maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of outdoor areas and common spaces, assist with light maintenance, and support the maintenance team on special projects while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Prior porter/groundskeeping/janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, walkways, parking lots, dumpster areas, and common spaces.
• Clean and upkeep amenities such as the pool area, fitness center, and grilling stations.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks and report issues as needed.
• Pressure wash sidewalks and building exteriors as needed.
• Remove trash and debris from grounds daily.
• Assist the maintenance team with apartment make-readies and special projects.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and communicate reordering needs.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and curb appeal of the community grounds, amenities, and common areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of all outdoor areas, including walkways, parking lots, dumpster areas, and common spaces
• Clean and upkeep amenities such as the pool area, fitness center, and grilling stations
• Assist with light maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs and reporting maintenance issues
• Pressure wash sidewalks and building exteriors as needed
• Remove trash and debris from grounds daily
• Assist the maintenance team with apartment make-readies and special projects as requested
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and communicate reordering needs
