Position Overview: Porter

As a Porter, you can expect to:

• Prioritize guest satisfaction as our #1 focus.
• Check delivered products for quality and quantity to verify receipt of items on invoice.
• Ensure all frozen or refrigerated goods meet HACCP standards.
• Determine storage methods, identification, and stock location considering temperature, humidity, height, weight limits, and other proper storage procedures.
• Load and unload supply trucks transferring items between storage and work areas.
• Make timely deliveries to operating restaurants throughout the property.
• Conduct inventory and compile reports.
• Handle shipping and receiving, including picking and packing all orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and storage areas, perform routine maintenance, and remove refuse.
• Transport unused products for disposal and soiled service ware for cleaning.
• Assist guests with specific requests and communicate any special needs to supervisors/managers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
