Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Maintenance/Janitorial professional to prepare units for occupancy, clean common areas, and maintain property facilities. You will handle inventory, respond to resident requests, and follow OSHA safety policies.

This is a full-time role with responsibilities across multiple sites. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to read simple words and numbers, with physical tasks including lifting up to 75 pounds and

• Ability to read a limited number of simple words and basic numbers; speak simple sentences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant units for occupancy and maintain professional appearance.
• Clean leasing office, amenity areas, laundry facilities and other common areas daily or per schedule.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, and equipment for property/management company.
• Provide courteous, efficient response to resident and management requests; report unusual circumstances.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and safety policies at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

To provide resident satisfaction by maintaining the property units in a clean and safe fashion.

What You’ll Do:

• Preparing vacant units for occupancy as necessary. Ensure a professional appearance at all times.
• Cleaning the leasing office, amenity areas, laundry facilities and other common areas on a daily basis, or as scheduled by the Manager.
• Maintaining inventory, supplies, and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
• Providing courteous, efficient response to resident and management requests. Reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Adhering to OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and basic numbers. Ability to speak simple sentences.

Physical Activities

Requires frequent lifting and moving of up to 75 pounds when using machinery and equipment for essential maintenance tasks, including but not limited to installing outside air conditioning units. Requires frequent bending and/or stooping to access equipment and machinery necessary for essential maintenance tasks. Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning fluids and tools.
