Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Porter for our Denver-area property. This role focuses on grounds and building upkeep, ensuring market-ready units and top-notch curb appeal while delivering excellent resident service. Work Mon-Fri with a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for mentorship and growth.

You will support maintenance tasks, safety compliance, and a positive resident experience at our property, contributing to the overall appearance and satisfaction of residents and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and debris from office areas and property perimeter daily.
• Assist in preparation of market-ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
• Assist with property emergencies (snow removal, fires, floods).
• Clean available apartments, model homes and common areas as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal while interacting professionally with residents.

About the porter position

We’re looking for a talented porter who will be responsible for the meticulous upkeep of the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, tour path, parking lots and other areas of the assigned property, with maximization of the property’s marketing appeal with the highest level of customer satisfaction in mind.

• Remove trash and other debris from office areas and property perimeter on a daily basis.
• Assist in the preparation of market ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
• Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal and/or other inclement weather emergencies, fires, and floods.
• Clean available apartments and/or model homes and common areas of the community, as directed.
• Address property maintenance concerns related to inclement weather conditions.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents always.
• Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality.
• Foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, other properties and associated agencies.
• Clearly and immediately report any maintenance and/or life safety issues identified while performing regular assigned duties.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents at all times.
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance is required.
• Must comply with all safety requirements.
• Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment.
• Ability to shove snow, apply ice melt and operate a commercial snow blower.
