Position Summary

At Parc Provence, our Porters play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, families, and the community. As a Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring resident rooms and common areas remain neat and orderly while representing Parc Provence with professionalism and care. Every team member contributes to our mission of providing high-quality services and enhancing the daily lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

Your essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas.

• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.

• Dispose of waste in compliance with facility policies.

• Restock and distribute soap, paper products, and other housekeeping supplies.

• Replenish resident room supplies as needed.

• Perform checkout cleaning procedures for vacated rooms.

• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within scheduled time frames.

• Properly use and maintain housekeeping equipment.

• Deliver incoming packages from the loading dock.

• Escort vendors and emergency personnel (ambulance, police, fire department, funeral homes, etc.) throughout the community.

• Utilize cleaning equipment and chemicals correctly to maximize cleanliness and prevent waste or damage.

• Adhere to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and promote a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or porter experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and lift/move light packages as needed.
