Job summary

Omnia360 Facility Solutions in Columbus, OH is hiring for a Porter to maintain facility appearance and functionality. The role offers full-time hours from Tuesday to Saturday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM, with weekly pay and a benefits package.

The position requires basic computer skills and customer-service oriented candidates with prior janitorial experience. Salary is $14.00–$16.00 per hour, with health/dental/vision, 401(k) matching up to 4%, HSA option, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and can-do attitude.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1+ years of day porter, janitorial, or related experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge including email and work order systems.
• Ability to complete required safety classes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass drug test and FBI/BCI background checks.
• Ability to pass sanctions checks for healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility appearance and functionality.
• Empty waste baskets and manage waste.
• Dust, polish furniture, fixtures and equipment.
• Sweep, mop floors, vacuum carpets.
• Restroom supply replenishment.
• Assist with exterior maintenance (snow removal, picking up waste).
• Transport tools/materials between sites.
• Provide light maintenance or contact maintenance as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions for the Porter Position:

• Take responsibility for the appearance and functionality of the facility.
• Emptying and removing waste from waste baskets as needed and directed.
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors, vacuum and clean carpets.
• Clean and replenish supplies in restrooms.
• Assist with exterior maintenance (snow removal, picking up waste, etc.).
• Transport tools and materials between sites or departments.
• Provide light maintenance as needed or contact maintenance department to assist with maintenance needs.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements for the Porter Position:
