Job summary

Omnia360 Facility Solutions is seeking an On-Call Porter in Columbus, OH. This PRN role offers about 19 hours per week on a first shift schedule (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) with hourly pay between $13.00 and $15.00.

Responsibilities include keeping the facility presentable, handling waste, cleaning and restocking restrooms, basic light maintenance, and assisting with exterior tasks as needed. Prior janitorial or porter experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of day porter, janitorial, or related experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including email and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance and functionality of the facility.
• Empty waste baskets and manage trash as directed.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Sweep, mop floors, vacuum, and clean carpets.
• Clean and replenish restroom supplies.
• Assist with exterior maintenance (snow removal, litter pickup).
• Transport tools and materials between sites.
• Provide light maintenance or coordinate with maintenance staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

PRN Status

PRN associates play a flexible and valuable role by working on an "as-needed basis," allowing for adaptability in scheduling rather than a fixed routine. These non-exempt, hourly positions are designed to support the community during key times, such as fill-in coverage, seasonal needs, or unexpected situations. While PRN associates are not scheduled on a regular basis, their contributions are essential in helping ensure smooth operations whenever additional support is needed.PRN positions may lead to full or part time positions in the future if interested but not required

Benefits for the On Call Porter Position Include:

• Weekly pay - $13.00 - $15.00/hour, dependent on your experience and skills.

Essential Functions for the On Call Porter Position:

• Take responsibility for the appearance and functionality of the facility.
• Emptying and removing waste from waste baskets as needed and directed.
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors, vacuum and clean carpets.
• Clean and replenish supplies in restrooms.
• Assist with exterior maintenance (snow removal, picking up waste, etc.).
• Transport tools and materials between sites or departments.
• Provide light maintenance as needed or contact maintenance department to assist with maintenance needs.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements for the On Call Porter Position:

• Possess outstanding customer service skills and can-do attitude.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1+ years of day porter, janitorial, or other related experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge, including ability to use email and work order systems.
• Must have the ability to complete required safety classes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to pass drug test and FBI/BCI background checks.
• Must be able to pass sanctions checks for working in health care facilities.
