Job summary

Five Iron Golf in Chicago is seeking a Porter to perform routine maintenance and support housekeeping across our venue. The role reports to the General Manager and emphasizes a clean, safe environment for members and staff.

The position requires flexibility for nights and weekends, non-exempt status, and a pay rate of $19–$20 per hour. Prior guest-facing experience is a plus in our hospitality-driven setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of public and work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas including but not limited to: Bathrooms
• Gym
• All Common areas (Simulators, offices, lobby, etc.)
• Remove trash, litter, and laundry from rooms, offices, common areas, kitchens, restrooms, grounds and receptacles
• Garbage
• Cardboard
• Recyclable
• Laundry
• Member clothing
• Towels
• Minor maintenance and repairs
• Replace light bulbs, air filters, blinds, shades and other items as directed
• Repair doors, windows, sink fixtures and inspect areas for unsafe conditions

We are seeking a Porter. This individual will perform routine maintenance around the location and help out with miscellaneous upkeep and report directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities Include The Following
