Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC seeks a dependable Porter for Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center. You will distribute linen and pick up carts daily, remove trash, and move soiled laundry to the laundry department as needed to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include emptying Sharp Containers, delivering supplies, keeping equipment in good condition, and following infection control and safety guidelines. Evening shift cleaning is also required.

• Report all safety and repair issues to Management as needed.

Work Environment:

The general work conditions, elements the employee may be exposed to while performing the duties of their position can be odors, feces, urine, vomit, trash, rain, snow, heat, cold and food waste.

Physical Demands:

The employee will be required to occasionally lift up to 50lbs. and occasionally push up to 40lbs. The employee must also be able to climb stairs, step stools and ladders. The employee must also be able to bend, reach, turn, twist, handle, walk and feel equipment and items. To perform their job.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Able to list more than 40lbs, experience in healthcare setting
