Responsibilities

• Distribute linen daily or as needed.
• Pick up empty linen carts daily or as needed.
• Remove trash/garbage from all assigned areas and transport to dumpster as needed and as per training.
• Remove soiled laundry and transport to laundry department as needed.
• Empty all Sharp Containers as per training.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for cleanliness and working condition daily.
• Store and secure equipment and supplies daily.
• Accept deliveries and put away as scheduled.
• Clean Nottingham and Westminster Dining Rooms on evening shift.
• Attend mandatory department in-services and meetings.
• Follow infection control and fire and safety guidelines daily.
• Report safety and repair issues to Management as needed.

• Remove soiled laundry from all assigned areas and transport to laundry department as needed and as per training.
• Empty all Sharp Containers as per training.
• Perform all assigned duties assigned by Management.
• Maintain all supplies and equipment for cleanliness and working condition daily and as per training.

Work Environment:

The general work conditions, elements the employee may be exposed to while performing the duties of their position can be odors, feces, urine, vomit, trash, rain, snow, heat, cold and food waste.

Physical Demands:

The employee will be required to occasionally lift up to 50lbs. and occasionally push up to 40lbs. The employee must also be able to climb stairs, step stools and ladders. The employee must also be able to bend, reach, turn, twist, handle, walk and feel equipment and items. To perform their job.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Able to list more than 40lbs, experience in healthcare setting
