Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Experienced Underground Front Line Supervisor for our Portal Mines operations. The role requires proven knowledge of underground hard rock mining and will lead a team to ensure safe, efficient equipment operation under a rotating day/night schedule.

The ideal candidate has at least six years in underground mining and three years in a supervisory position, with strong communication and safety records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of underground mine experience.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience with underground hard rock mining.
• Maintenance planning/scheduling experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for supervising underground staff.
• Excellent safety and performance record.

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Front Line Supervisor at our Portal Mines operations. As part of the Underground Operations team, the ideal candidate will have proven knowledge of underground hard rock mining.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign personnel as jobs require
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment preforms as desired

The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
