Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a portable sanitation Equipment Associate to help ensure every unit leaving the yard is rent ready and up to quality standards. The role offers a flexible schedule with weekend/after-hours work as needed and opportunities for advancement into Driver and Service Technician programs.

You will perform checks, assist with loading/unloading, and maintain the yard. The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, safety focus, and good customer service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Superior customer service and positive attitude are essential.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and safety mindedness are required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Perform routine checks on portable sanitation equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order.
• General facility maintenance and minor repairs.
• Loading and unloading of units, either manually or with forklift as required.
• Ensure trucks are accurately loaded for the next day with all units cleaned and repaired to standards.
• Maintain inventory spaces, communicate accurate counts to Dispatch.
• Quality check on all units and equipment, verifying rent ready status prior to loading.
