Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a portable sanitation Equipment Associate to help keep units rent-ready and meet quality standards in a fast-paced yard environment.

You will perform routine checks, maintenance, loading and unloading of units (with forklift as needed), and ensure inventory is organized while maintaining a clean shop and yard. Safety and excellent customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license.
• Safety-first mindset with diligence.
• Basic knowledge of yard equipment and the loading/unloading of trucks.
• Industry experience is a plus, training provided.
• Excellent customer service and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Inspect, wash, repair, and store portable sanitation units.
• Perform routine checks to ensure rent-ready status.
• Maintain yard and shop in clean, organized condition.
• Load and unload units, using forklift if required.
• Ensure trucks are loaded correctly for the next day.
• Keep inventory spaces organized and accurate.
• Quality check on all units and equipment.
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.
