Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Portable Sanitation Equipment Associate to help ensure every unit leaving the yard is rent-ready and up to quality standards. The role involves safety adherence, equipment checks, and yard organization, with opportunities for advancement through the Driver and Service Technician programs.

Responsibilities include routine equipment checks, loading/unloading, minor repairs, and maintaining orderly facilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Safety focused; must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
• General knowledge of yard equipment and loading/unloading trucks.
• Industry experience is a plus, but training is provided on products and services.
• Strong customer service and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Perform routine checks on portable sanitation equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order.
• General facility maintenance and minor repairs.
• Loading and unloading of units, with forklift as required.
• Use of drill, rivet tool and other hand tools as needed.
• Maintain inventory spaces and ensure accurate counts to Dispatch.
• Quality check on all units to verify rent-ready status prior to loading.
