Job summary

Knife River Corporation - Mountain West is seeking a reliable Rap Crusher Operator/Foreman to lead the maintenance and operation of our portable rap crusher across Idaho. This role requires strong safety focus and the ability to keep the plant running with minimal downtime.

You will set up, operate, and maintain the crusher and conveyors, perform preventive maintenance, and handle basic welding and fabrication as needed. Travel and extended hours may be required to meet project demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in crusher/plant operations.
• Experience with excavator and loader equipment required.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Must meet attendance policy and have valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tear down portable rap crusher daily.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on crusher and conveyors.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component replacements.
• Operate with safety and minimal downtime; travel across Idaho.
• Welding and fabrication as needed.
