Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineer III to join our Ports & Marine team in Orange, CA. The role involves planning, analysis, and design of marine infrastructures with a focus on delivering code-compliant solutions for various clients.

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree with four years of structural engineering experience, supporting a range of marine facilities, and possess strong skills in SAP2000, MathCAD, and design documentation using AutoCAD or Revit.

Qualifications

• Four years of professional structural engineering experience with a focus on structural engineering.
• Strong academic background and hands-on experience in infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for marine and waterfront structures.
• Assist with preparation of structural calculations and design reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.

Skills

Proficiency with SAP2000

Proficiency with MathCAD

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Experience with AutoCAD

Experience with Revit

Education

BA/BS in Structural Engineering or equivalent experience

Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
