Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a full‑time Ports and Marine Civil Engineer for Puget Sound, WA. You will contribute to the Ports and Maritime Team with civil design for overwater and upland components, and prepare technical communications for client presentations and reports.

With 3–5 years of relevant experience and strong Civil 3D skills, you will develop site grading plans and support planning, scheduling, and cost estimation activities across diverse marine projects for major clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of post-education civil design experience.
• Familiar with marine, port, and civil engineering principles and codes.
• Experience using Civil 3D for site grading and upland work.
• Ability to work independently and in teams; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil design for overwater structures and upland components under supervision.
• Prepare technical memos and reports.
• Assist with plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Develop upland site grading plans using Civil 3D.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Conduct design calculations including stormwater analyses per Ecology requirements.
• Support field coordination and ensure code compliance.
