Job summary

WSP is seeking a Ports and Marine Civil Engineer for our Tampa, Houston, or Miami offices. The role involves civil design for port facilities, grading, drainage, and utilities with a focus on marine environments. Join a large, collaborative team delivering waterfront infrastructure across the US and globally.

The candidate will work on projects for port authorities, the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard, and private entities, using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Engineer in Training Certification.
• 3-5 years of post-education design experience as a Civil engineer.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil design for overwater structures and upland components under supervision.
• Contribute to planning and design of container terminals and port facilities with focus on civil/grading/drainage.
• Prepare technical writings and reports.
• Support in creation of plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Develop upland site grading and dredge plans using Civil 3D.
