Job summary

MKK EXPRESS INC in Walnut, CA is seeking a reliable Port Truck Driver to join our growing logistics team. This role moves shipping containers between ports, rail yards, warehouses, and distribution centers, with strict adherence to DOT rules and safety protocols.

You will perform inspections, coordinate with dispatch, maintain logs, and meet tight delivery windows in a fast-paced port environment. Valid Class A CDL, TWIC, and a clean driving record are required, with at least 2 years of

Requires valid Class A CDL and TWIC card.
Minimum 2 years of Class A CDL experience with port/drayage exposure.
Familiarity with DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS).
Strong safety record and ability to work independently or with dispatch.

Responsibilities

Transport containers between ports, rail yards, warehouses, and distribution centers.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for DOT compliance and safety.
Coordinate with dispatch and port personnel for pickup/drop-off scheduling.
Navigate port terminals and manage gate transactions and check-in/check-out procedures.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation.
Ensure cargo is properly secured and meets all load requirements.
