Job summary

MKK EXPRESS INC in Walnut, CA is seeking a reliable Port Truck Driver to join our growing team. You will transport containers and cargo between ports, rails yards, and distribution centers, while ensuring on-time delivery.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL, a current TWIC card, and a track record of safe driving. You will work with dispatch, perform inspections, and maintain logs in a fast-paced port environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 2 years of Class A CDL experience.
• Current TWIC card required.
• Port drayage or intermodal trucking experience preferred.
• Clean driving record and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Transport shipping containers and cargo between ports, rail yards, warehouses, and distribution centers
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety
• Coordinate with dispatch and port personnel for pickup and drop-off scheduling
• Navigate port terminals, including check-in/check-out procedures and gate transactions
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and electronic documentation
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and all load requirements are met
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic and transportation regulations

Requirements:

• minimum of 2 years of Class A CDL experiance required
• Current TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required
• Previous port drayage or intermodal trucking experience strongly preferred
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
• Ability to navigate busy port terminals and meet tight delivery windows
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
