Job summary

Watco currently seeks a Crane Operator to join the West Memphis Terminal team. This mid-level hourly role tasks you with operating an overhead crane to move customer product throughout the terminal and port, while performing additional general labor and deck-hand duties. Emphasis is placed on safety and teamwork.

The position requires hands-on crawler crane experience (or large gantry crane in port/marine environments). Overtime and weekend work may be required; home nightly with no travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to pass and/or obtain required reporting, testing, and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand standard operating procedures and safety requirements.
• Participate in safety briefings to ensure proper and safe task execution.
• Safely operate the crane to move products within the terminal and load/unload from barges, railcars, trucks or storage areas.
• Assist with deck hand duties such as pulling lines, tying off barges, and assisting boat pilots with docking and launch.
