Job summary

Holman, a family‑owned, global automotive services company, is seeking a skilled Mainline Technician in San Diego. Opportunity includes a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and relocation assistance based on qualifications.

Pay range is $33.00 to $56.00 per hour, with growth and training through Porsche certification programs. You will work with a team of a foreman and four leads, participate in mentorship, and contribute to a high‑caliber shop culture focused on accuracy and advanced diagnostics.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of Porsche technician experience required
• Technical Auto training or Porsche certifications, ASEs are a plus
• Valid Driver's License, a clean MVR or minimal violations

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
• Maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials
• Keep shop area neat and clean, and be able to account for dealership tools at all times
• Road-test vehicles to ensure of quality repair
• Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry, as well as in the diagnostics arena

Pay Range: $33.00 -$56.00per flat rate hour

What will you do?

The Mainline Technician must be experienced in the following areas:

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $29.23 - $41.66 USD per hour.
