Job summary

Zoetis Pork Technical Services Veterinarian provides technical expertise for assigned Strategic Pork Producer, Veterinary, and prospect accounts. You collaborate with the account manager to develop strategic plans to maximize Zoetis sales within the defined geography.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree required or equivalent.
Two years post-doctoral experience in clinical practice, academia, research or industry preferred.
Strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Calling on pork producers, veterinarians, dealers, consultants and distributors to provide scientific support and enable Zoetis to maintain a competitive edge.
Providing technical training and education to colleagues within the Zoetis pork unit.
Providing sound technical advice on routine inquiries and assisting team members with inquiries.
Offering solutions to a wide range of animal health and production issues via a customer-focused, sales-oriented approach.
