Job summary

Prestage Farms is seeking a production line associate to perform repetitive tasks in a pork processing environment. You will work in hot or cold conditions, wearing required PPE, and comply with all food safety standards.

Tasks include using knives and saws, standing for long periods, and rotating through production and supervisory stations. No prior experience is required, but strong reading comprehension and basic math are helpful.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to comprehend simple instructions and communicate effectively.
• Basic mathematical skills for counting and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Other duties may be assigned.
• Work in a fast-paced area using tools such as knives, saws, and whizard knives.
• Operate equipment as required in production areas.
• Handle raw meat in pork processing areas.
• Work at different stations as production or supervisor needs require.
• Maintain KPI scorecards to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure USDA, HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP and SQF compliance and safety.
