Job summary

Prestage Foods in Eagle Grove, IA is hiring for a role on the pork production line. You will perform repetitive tasks in hot or cold conditions, wear PPE, and follow all safety and food safety requirements.

You may operate equipment, handle raw meat, and move between production stations as needed. Training is provided and there is a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork.

The role also focuses on maintaining KPI’s and compliance with USDA, HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP and SQF standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Work on the pork production line performing repetitive tasks.
• Operate equipment as required in production areas.
• Handle raw pork and work in areas with exposure to meat processing.
• Move between production stations based on needs of production or supervision.
• Maintain relationships and contribute to continuous improvement through KPI and score cards.
• Ensure compliance with USDA, HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP, and SQF standards and safety practices.
