Population Health + Wellness Intern

Location: Denver, Colorado (Onsite)
Internship Dates: Summer 2026 (May-August)
Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
Compensation: Competitively Paid

Role Overview:

This internship provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in population health and wellness within a consulting environment. You’ll support the development of strategic population health plans, client communications, and internal resources-while learning how population Health initiatives, data, and vendor relationships contribute to risk mitigation and cost containment for clients.

Key Responsibilities

CLIENT WELLNESS STRATEGY

• Assist in creating and executing population health strategies for MJ clientele
• Collaborate on new ideas and improvements to population health initiatives
• Develop wellness-focused communications and templates (e.g., newsletters, challenges)

EVENT & PROGRAM SUPPORT

• Help coordinate and schedule wellness events (e.g., health fairs, biometric screenings, flu clinics, lunch & learns)
• Conduct research on population health vendors and maintain internal vendor database
• Review vendor capabilities and assist in proposal development

INTERNAL POPULATION HEALTH INITIATIVES

• Contribute to development of internal wellness templates and resources
• Support internal process improvements to enhance client deliverables

Required Qualifications
