Job summary

Fortify Children's Health seeks a Population Health Interoperability Specialist. The role converts data from diverse sources into standardized formats for population health, analyzes and displays it, and prepares data from multiple EHRs, payor claims, and health information exchanges for loading into the Health Data Intelligence platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years relevant experience in data analytics within a pediatric CIN setting.
• Experience with both claims and electronic health record data, and ideally Health Information Exchange data.
• Experience with multiple EHR vendors (e.g., Epic, Oracle, Office Practicum, eClinicalWorks).
• Certifications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle SQL and/or Tableau are a plus.
• Strong data cleaning, transformation, and scripting skills (Python or similar).
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage high workloads and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Gather data requirements, formats, conversions, and ETL processes for data-driven decisions.
• Understand CIN data needs for display and end goals to support contracts.
• Maintain documentation for data design, coding, and utilization.
• Cleanse, screen, and apply statistical methods to predict data meanings.
• Maintain data integrity and security across data management systems.
• Identify opportunities for improvements and optimize the environment.
• Stay current with trends in data management and analytics.
• Perform other duties and specialized projects as assigned.
