Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking candidates for the Summer 2027 Population Health Analytics Graduate Internship. This program provides hands-on experience at the intersection of healthcare, data analytics, and population health strategy, with exposure to large-scale datasets and collaboration with analytics and clinical stakeholders.

Interns will engage in data exploration, trend analysis, performance measurement, and strategic research to support Living Health initiatives and value-based care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Pursuit of a graduate degree full or part-time in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Epidemiology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and internal/external stakeholders.
• Under supervision, provide professional services aligned with day-to-day objectives.
• Participate in projects to develop professional skills and expertise.
• Assist in planning and implementing unit projects and initiatives.
• Conduct research and reporting with recommendations or alternative actions as requested by management.
• Undertake related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate to the operating unit.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
