Position Summary

We’re seeking a full-time Pop-Up Merchandise Coordinator (official title: Visual Merchandise Coordinator) for our Los Angeles-based corporate office. This position will report to the Retail Marketing Manager of Pop Up Stores. The Visual Merchandise Coordinator will support US Pop Up Store initiatives for the organization. The Visual Merchandise Coordinator will be responsible for event preparation, visual merchandising strategy development, and seamless execution of engaging and exciting pop ups.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support Retail Marketing Manager in ideation, planning, and execution of Pop Up Stores
  • Research and analyze market trends, competitors, and customer data in order to further targeted efforts
  • Compile comprehensive trend forecasting and timelines per city
  • Execute visual merchandising tasks accurately and in a timely manner
  • Develop and plan compelling visual strategies from space planning, fixture development, fixture placement, merchandising, styling, displays, marketing, and windows
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal partners on shared objectives and support needs
  • Select product assortment through analysis of customer demographic and ecomm sales trends
  • Travel for site visits to scout potential retail spaces/venues for pop up
  • Travel to the Pop Up Store location to execute setup plans from placement of fixtures, mannequins, visual elements, gifting station, and marketing to create an engaging and elevated shopping experience
  • Implement and lead visual merchandising strategy and ensure backup plans are in place to replenish merchandise sell through
  • Provide thorough direction and training to temp Brand Ambassadors regarding visual merchandising strategy, customer service expectations, merchandise recovery, maintenance, and replenishment
  • Support takedown once Pop Up has concluded
  • Achieve and deliver pop up KPIs. Analyze event performance, data, and key learnings to determine strategy adjustments necessary to improve future pop up events
  • Compile Pop Up Store post-mortems for executive review
  • Participate as an active member of the team by engaging in department calls and meetings by sharing strategy

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent experience in related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Retail Visual Merchandising and Trend Forecasting preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in Retail Pop Up and Store Opening experience a plus
  • Project a professional demeanor as well as using tact when communicating and working with others
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment or independently with minimum supervision
  • Able to build strong relationships through high-level of communication and partnership
  • Strong research, organizational, problem solving, and project management skills to meet deadlines
  • Resourceful and able to identify efficient and innovative ways to overcome various obstacles
  • Proactive to business needs and works with a high sense of urgency
  • Comfortable with data analysis and sales reporting
  • Strong attention to detail, the ability to focus well under pressure, and adaptable to changing plans and priorities
  • Flexible with availability and accessible for urgent calls and/or meetings
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% to different parts of the country to support and oversee execution of Pop Up Stores is a must

Pay Range: $24 USD - $27.25 USD
