Job summary

FAN EXPO HQ, a division of Informa, is seeking an Event Content & Programming Producer to shape programming for major pop culture events across the U.S. and Canada.

Based in New York or Orlando, you will lead live programming, build partnerships, and coordinate with show management, operations and marketing to deliver engaging on-site activations. You will travel up to 25% annually, develop schedules, coordinate rooms, and ensure smooth execution while collaborating with cross‑functional teams

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in comic conventions, live events, entertainment, or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge and interest in pop culture genres (comics, anime, horror, gaming, cosplay, sci‑fi, fantasy).
• Clear, proactive written and verbal communication with internal teams, partners and exhibitors.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines during show preparation.
• Collaborative cross‑functional teamwork to deliver programming and on‑site activations.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage assigned shows from planning through on-site execution.
• Develop, schedule and deliver engaging programming across pop culture genres.
• Build programming schedules, assign rooms, document requirements, and coordinate on-site moves.
• Identify and pursue new community or industry partnerships for stronger programming.
• Coordinate with Sales and internal stakeholders to deliver sponsor programming commitments.
• Provide regular updates to the micro-team and Show Management to anticipate issues.
