Job summary

The Shelborne Miami Beach, part of Proper Hospitality, is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service with warmth and efficiency. You will greet guests, take orders, coordinate with kitchen and bar, and ensure a memorable dining experience for all patrons.

Applicants with hospitality experience and ServSafe certification are preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred.
• ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and accurate manner with presentation in mind.
• Upsell daily specials or featured items to enhance guest experience and sales.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining area and assist kitchen/bar staff as needed.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash, credit card payments, and tips.
