Job summary

Accor is seeking a Server for AMA Bar & Grill - Poolside at Fairmont Kea Lani in Wailea, Maui. You will deliver warm, personalized service in an outdoor, social setting and contribute to a memorable guest experience.

Hourly rate is $16.00, with opportunities to learn and grow within our hospitality family. Required: at least 2 years of serving in a high-volume upscale restaurant; fine dining and wine knowledge are assets.

As aServerat AMA Bar & Grill - Poolside your warm, personal attention and knowledge of our outstanding offerings will make guests feel unique and valued in a relaxed, outdoor and social atmosphere.

Schedule

Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Minimum 2years’ serving experience in high volume, upscale full service restaurant preferred
• Previous fine dining experience and wine knowledge is an asset
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team

Licenses or Certificates

• TB Clearance required

Education

• High School diploma (or equivalent) and/or vocational training
• Degree in Hospitality or Tourism is an asset

Your working environment

• Work tasks are performed outdoors where conditions vary throughout the year
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Must be able to push and pull 50lbs.
• Constant standing, walking and reaching
• Frequent lifting/carrying, pushing and pulling
• Occasional crouching, bending, stooping, and kneeling
• Requires grasping, writing, repetitive motions, listening, hearing and visual acuity
