Job summary

FirstService Residential in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a friendly Pool Attendant to supervise pool areas, make safety announcements, and keep poolside equipment ready for guest use while providing information and services to residents.

The ideal candidate has hospitality experience, strong written and verbal communication, and a service‑oriented mindset; flexibility to work Sundays through Thursdays is required; job offers hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred; hospitality coursework desirable.
• Two or more years’ experience in the hospitality industry.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Multi-language fluency desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pool area (adult/children) and makes safety announcements.
• Assists with set up and breakdown for poolside activities as needed.
• Move and stack beach lounge chairs & umbrellas.
• Submit and report incidents to the appropriate manager.
• Be service oriented.
• Picks up debris from the pool and possesses basic cleaning skills.
• Check sports equipment to make sure it is in order for guest to use.
• Report broken sports equipment to the manager so that replacement equipment can be ordered.
• Work as a team member and be approachable to residents/guests.
• Familiar with Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and follow procedures.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
