Job summary

Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Poolside Cafe Server for Spring to Fall 2025. This role supports our Wheelhouse Cafe, serving an adult, family and kids pool area with a full-service bar and dining room.

We value energetic, self-motivated team players who deliver high-quality guest experiences, know beverage offerings, and can operate the POS system. Experience in food service and a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have six months of food service or private club server experience.
• Must know finer points of service, a good understanding of beverages - alcoholic and nonalcoholic, a working knowledge of course sequence, utensils, plateware and glassware.

Responsibilities

• Be punctual and arrive to work on time.
• Greet members and their guests immediately and with a smile.
• Guide members and their guests through the dining experience and communicate frequently.
• Close and verify all member checks at the end of the shift.
• Turn in check-out to Café Captain or Service Director.
• Perform other duties to support quality member service.
