Job summary

The Langham Huntington, Pasadena, Los Angeles, seeks a Bartender for the Pool Bar to serve beverages and light fare to guests in a friendly, timely manner. You will also prepare beverages for other servers and act as cashier for the pool area, balancing cash and ensuring guest satisfaction.

You will maintain bar setup, stock garnishes, greet guests, document orders, and ensure adherence to all liquor regulations.

Qualifications

• Bartending experience is required.
• CPR Certification and/or First Aid Training required.
• Must be able to obtain TIPS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a function basis, including stocking all beverages and supplies.
• Greets guests, promotes and documents drink orders, and presents drinks using standard recipes.
• Receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies charges, and records transactions to balance money.
• Cleans bar at end of day and secures equipment and deposits cash drops.
• Complies with State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations at all times.
