Job summary

Sítio El Tropicano is hiring a Bartender for Bar Nado, the poolside venue. You will prepare cocktails, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks while delivering welcoming service to guests at the bar and pool deck.

Reporting to the F&B Manager — Bar Nado, you will work with a team to ensure accurate orders, timely delivery, and high standards in an outdoor setting. TABC and Food Handler certifications are required or obtainable quickly.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a full-service restaurant, hotel, resort, pool bar, or comparable hospitality environment.
• Working knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic beverages.
• Ability to prepare beverages consistently while managing bar guests and incoming service tickets.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests at the bar promptly and provide attentive, personable service.
• Guide guests through the beverage menu with recommendations based on their preferences.
• Prepare cocktails and other beverages according to approved recipes, specifications, portion standards, and presentation requirements.
• Enter bar orders, modifications, and charges accurately into the POS.
• Coordinate with runners, server assistants, and the culinary team to ensure timely delivery of drinks.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming bar area and uphold safety practices in an outdoor pool setting.
