Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a pool attendant in Palm Beach, FL to supervise the pool area, make safety announcements and assist guests with information and services. This full-time role requires hospitality experience and a service-oriented approach.

The position offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, time off and a 401k with company match; occasional training travel may be required. Schedule includes weekends and varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality coursework desirable.
• Two or more years’ experience in hospitality.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Multilingual abilities desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pool area (adult/children) and makes safety announcements.
• Assists with set up and breakdown for poolside activities as needed.
• Must be able to submit and report incidents to the appropriate manager.
• Must be service oriented.
• Picks up debris from the pool and possesses basic cleaning skills.
• Checks sports equipment to make sure it is in order for guest to use.
• Reports broken sports equipment to the manager so that replacement equipment can be ordered.
• Must have the ability to work as a team member.
• Must be accessible to and approachable to residents/guests.
• Must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and carry out the policies and procedures appropriate for his/her position.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
