Job summary

The Woodlands Township is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for pools, spray grounds, and fountains. You will monitor water chemistry, add chemicals, and perform minor repairs to keep facilities compliant with health standards.

You will advise lifeguards on chemical and maintenance issues, inspect equipment, and keep detailed water-test records. A high school diploma or GED and one year of related experience are required, with a Pool & Spa Operation certification (CPO/AFO) to be obtained

Qualifications

• Knowledge of swimming pool chemicals
• Experience with water testing and maintaining chemical balance
• Must have a High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Advise Lifeguards on chemical and maintenance issues and troubleshoot solutions.
• Inspect pools, fountains and spray pads for water clarity and chemistry.
• Record, maintain and file results of daily, weekly water tests for each pool/fountain/spray ground.
• Perform preventative maintenance on aquatic facilities and repair or replace equipment as needed.
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of pool supplies and chemicals.
• Assist with emergency response and be available for flexible scheduling.
